Successfully Dominating the Billboards, The Avett Brothers Are Now Prepared to Rock Your Night

The Avett Brothers, a revered bluegrass/folk rock/Americana band, will return to Tulsa for a BOK Center performance on Tuesday, May 14. This past year has been historic for The Avett Brothers, who played the last concert inside the "old" arena at Cox Business Center in March and they released their critically acclaimed documentary "May It Last: A Portrait of The Avett Brothers.”

The film followed the band as members wrote their Grammy-nominated album "True Sadness." The film was released theatrically and debuted on HBO on Jan. 29. In support of the film, the band appeared on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "Today" and Sirius XM.

"True Sadness" achieved the group's highest career debut to date and dominated multiple charts. The Rick Rubin-produced album arrived at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Albums Chart, No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums Chart, No. 1 on the Digital Albums Chart and No. 3 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart. The Album was also nominated for Best Americana Album and Best America Roots Performance for "Ain't No Man" at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Now, you can see it performed live before your eyes!
